This register returns the least significant 32-bits of the 48-bit external global timestamp counter. When this register is read the upper 16-bits of the global timestamp are loaded into a shadow register which may be read when the Trace TimeStamp Counter Register 1 is read. The shadow register is only ever updated when the Trace Time Stamp Counter Register 0 is read.
