The SoC debug framework supports a cross trigger network which provides a way to propagate debug events across the device:
Examples of debug events: processor entering debug state, CPTracer2 probe match, ETM trigger, etc. Examples of debug actions: debug request generation, interrupt request generation, start/stop trace, etc.
The SoC supports two types of debug trigger integration. Debug cells are used to integrate discrete CTI compliant triggers (fully asynchronous) from modules such as CPTracer2 bus probes. These triggers are merged internal to the debug cells and are presented on consolidated trigger channel interfaces. Other modules also merge multiple discrete trigger internally and provide trigger channel interfaces on their boundaries. Figure 13-6 shows a high level view of this topology.
