11.3 Interrupts

DCC generates an interrupt on either of two events:

  • DCC finishes counting and all the counters expire within a defined window indicating DONE operation, provided DCCGCTRL.DONENA = 1.
  • DCC finishes counting with error where counters do not expire in a defined window. This indicates an ERROR event, and sets an interrupt provided DCCGCTRL.ERRENA = 1.

Interrupts generated by DONE or ERROR events are ORed and flagged as a DCCn_DONE or DCCn_ERROR interrupt, respectively. Refer to the PIPE Channel Mapping table in the Peripheral Interrupt Priority and Expansion (PIPE) chapter to determine the interrupt channel mapping. The application interrupt service routine needs to check the status flag inside the DCCSTATUS register to determine whether the interrupt is due to ERROR or DONE.
