6.1 Introduction

Error aggregator is an interface module between ESM (Error Signaling Module) and peripherals that generate various errors like C29x, RTDMA, Memory controllers, Peripheral bridges, Read Interfaces. The main purpose of the Error Aggregator is to accumulate various errors from various sources and provide aggregated error output to ESM module. The module also logs the error status, error address, and error type information while segregating high-priority errors and low-priority errors for ESM to generate appropriate action to alert the CPU.
