All LSx RAMs and Flash sectors can be secured by Zone 1 or Zone 2 on this device. Each Flash sector or RAM block can be allocated to either zone by configuring the respective ZxOTP_GRABSECTx (Flash sector zone allocation) or ZxOTP_GRABRAMx (RAM zone allocation) locations in the USER OTP.
The possible bit values for the ZxOTP_GRABSECTx/ZxOTP_GRABRAMx are the following:
Table 5-3 shows the security state of a RAM block and Flash sector based on the configuration in the ZxOTP_GRABRAMx and ZxOTP_GRABSECTx register.
| Zone 1 ZxOTP_GRABRAMx/ZxOTP_GRABSECTx Bits |
Zone 2 ZxOTP_GRABRAMx/ZxOTP_GRABSECTx Bits |
Ownership and Accessibility |
|---|---|---|
| 01 | 10 | RAM block/Flash Sector belongs to Zone 1 |
| 01 | 11(2) | RAM block/Flash Sector belongs to Zone 1 |
| 10 | 01 | RAM block/Flash Sector belongs to Zone 2 |
| 11(1) | 01 | RAM block/Flash Sector belongs to Zone 2 |
| 10 | 10 | RAM block/Flash Sector is unsecure |
| 11 | 11 | RAM block/Flash Sector inaccessible if either of the zone is secure (CSM passwords are programmed). Never leave these values default (11) if CSM passwords are programmed for even one zone. |
