Install an IDE of your choice (see Section 3.6), it contains the drivers for the debug interfaces
Connect the eZ430-RF USB Debug Interface to an USB port of the PC
Windows should now recognize the new hardware as an "MSP430 XXX x.xx.xx" (see Figure B-12). The device name may be different from the one shown here.

The drivers are installed automatically without any user interaction.
The USB debug interface is installed and ready to use. The Windows Device Manager lists a new entries for a Human Interface Device and the MSP430 Application UART (COMx) (see Figure B-13).
