The maximum UNICOMM-SPI frequency supported with controller and peripheral mode depends on the device clock option and IO option. Please refer to specific device data sheet spec for more information.
There is a limitation on SPI clock frequency in both controller and peripheral modes: SPI frequency that can be supported is utmost half of the incoming clock frequency.
The UNICOMM-SPI internal functional clock is selected and divided from the incoming clock to the UNICOMM.
The selected source clock is always available and frequency depends on selected power mode; for more information, please refers to Clock Module chapter.
