Some peripherals can be configured to temporarily suspend STANDBY mode operation to handle a temporary activity or process an event. An asynchronous fast clock request allows STANDBY mode to be suspended.
Suspended STANDBY for an Asynchronous Fast Clock Request
An asynchronous fast clock request temporarily suspends any active low-power mode and runs the MCLK and ULPCLK tree at 4MHz, sourced from SYSOSC. Asynchronous fast clock requests are also functional in RUN and SLEEP mode where MCLK is sourced from SYSOSC at a frequency of 32MHz.
