0 | EN INPUT DC COUPLING | R/W | 0h | The device has an internal biassing resistor of 600 Ω from VCM to the INP and INM pins. A small common-mode current flows through these resistors causing approximately a 100-mV drop. To compenste for the drop, the device raises the VCM voltage by 100-mV by default. This compensation is particularly helpful in AC-coupling applications where the common-mode voltage on the INP and INM pins is established by internal biasing resistors. In DC-coupling applications, because the common-mode voltage is established by an external circuit, there is no need to raise VCM by 100-mV. 0 = Device raises VCM voltage by 100 mV, useful in AC-coupling applications 1 = Device does not raise the VCM voltage, useful in DC-coupling applications. |
