Figure 13-204 shows a logical representation of the QSPI interrupt generation scheme.
Figure 13-204 Logical Representation of the QSPI Interrupt Generation SchemeQSPI_SPI_STATUS_REG[1] WC and QSPI_SPI_STATUS_REG[2] FC are status bits indicating whether word or frame transfer is complete. Setting the corresponding interrupt enable bit (WIRQ or FIRQ) in the QSPI_SPI_CMD_REG register allows these events (WC and FC) to generate an interrupt. The WC and FC bits are reset every time the user writes to the QSPI_SPI_CMD_REG register or reads the QSPI_SPI_STATUS_REG register. This is done to keep control parameters from changing the interface protocol signals while a transfer is in progress. Additionally, the QSPI_SPI_SWITCH_REG[1] MM_INT_EN bit is used to enable or disable the word complete interrupt during operations using the memory-mapped port.
When the QSPI_SPI_CMD_REG[14] WIRQ and QSPI_SPI_CMD_REG[15] FIRQ bits are set to 0x1 the following applies:
It must be considered that the previously described scenario applies if the QSPI_SPI_CMD_REG[14] WIRQ and QSPI_SPI_CMD_REG[15] FIRQ bits are set to 0x1.
The QSPI_IRQ interrupt line is activated only if at least one of the following conditions is met:
