8.2.3.1 Spinlock Software Reset

The Spinlock module can be reset by software through the SPINLOCK_SYSCONFIG[1] SOFTRESET bit. Setting this bit to 1 enables an active software reset that is functionally equivalent to a hardware reset. Note that reading back the value of SPINLOCK_SYSCONFIG[1] SOFTRESET bit will always return 0. The software must ensure that the software reset completes before doing Spinlock operations.
