15.3.1.1 Compare Mode

A channel is automatically armed in compare mode by writing any value to SYSTIM.CHnVAL[31:0] DATA bit field.

Once programmed in compare mode, the channel generates an event when SYSTIM time reaches the programmed value.

The SYSTIM channel generates an event immediately if the programmed value falls within the past capture window: 4 seconds for 1µs resolution channels, or 1 second for the 250ns resolution channel.
