To set the AC_PLUG_EXIT_DEG (deglitch time to exit battery only boost after the adapter is plugged in), write a 2-bit command to REG0x36[6:5] using the data format listed in Section 6.6.6. The BQ24810 device provides 4 options of deglitch time, 25ms/3ms(default)/2ms/1ms (00b/01b/10b/11b). When the deglitch time is set to a longer duration, the VSYSMIN is more likely to stay above the programmed voltage, as the ACFET is turned on. The overlap time of enabling ACFET and battery only boost mode may cause the adapter to force the battery pack to a higher voltage. Setting a lower deglitch time will decrease the duration of the battery pack raising in voltage when initially plugged in. If the deglitch is too small, there is a chance the VSYSMIN may dip below the set voltage before the ACFET is fully turned on. A 3ms deglitch is recommended for the TI EVM in BQ24810 EVM User's Guide, considering the ACFET and gate drive RC time constant.
