TPS25741/TPS25741A 实现了一款符合 USB 供电 2.0 规范和 USB Type-C 版本 1.2 的源控制器。该器件可在电源多路复用器或 DC-DC 实施方案中使用,请参见下图。

该器件监控 CC 引脚,以检测 USB Type-C 散热器附件,然后使能 GDNG 和 G5V 栅极驱动器,从而为 VBUS 施加 5V 电压(请参见下图)。然后可通过 USB 供电提供多达 3 种不同的电压。为了获得二次电压,G5V 栅极驱动器被禁用,而 GDPG 栅极驱动器被启用。电源多路复用器实施方案使用所有栅极驱动器,但无需使用 CTL 引脚。DC-DC 实施方案仅需使用 GDNG 栅极驱动器,CTL 引脚通过编程将电源电压设定为所需值。该器件根据 USB 供电需求使 VBUS 自动放电。使用 PSEL、HIPWR、PCTRL 和 EN9V/EN12V 引脚配置通告电压和通告电流。

未连接设备时,该器件的典型流耗为 5.4µA(VDD = 0V 时为 8µA)。端口连接指示器(UFP 或 DVDD)在安装散热器前用于禁用电源,从而降低系统耗电量。

保护 特性 包括过压保护、过流保护、过热保护、CC 引脚的 IEC 保护以及栅极驱动器的系统重写 (GD)。
