I2C master can communicate with multiple slave addresses without having to give up control of the I2C bus by driving a STOP condition. This can be achieved by driving another START condition at the end of each data type. The repeated START condition can be used with the 7-bit addressing and 10-bit addressing. Figure 26-13 shows a repeated START condition in the 7-bit addressing format.
