3.6 Serial Management Interface

The DP83561EVM supports SMI (MDIO/MDC) through J43 and includes an on-board MSP for USB-2-MDIO control.

Notes:

  • DP83561-SP default PHY_ID is 00
  • PHY IDs can be changed through bootstrap options found in the datasheet
