EVM Register Settings

Figure 4-13 shows a portion of the ADS125H18 register map including a note that changing registers must be reserved for advanced use because certain combinations of settings can result in unstable GUI behavior. For example, the controller expects a DRDY pulse after each conversion to operate properly, so changing the DRDY_CFG bits in the SEQUENCER_CFG register can cause undesirable GUI behavior. Importantly, note that these are limitations of the GUI, not the ADC.

If necessary, use the Register Configuration page to configure advanced ADC functions. Change the register settings by clicking on each bit, typing a value directly into the Value column, or by selecting from the drop-down menus in the Field View control.
