Diagnostics

The BQ76952 device includes a suite of diagnostic tests that the system can use to improve operation robustness. These include comparisons between the two voltage references integrated within the device, a hardware monitor of the LFO frequency, memory checks at power-up or reset, an internal watchdog on the embedded processor, and more. The BQ76952 Technical Reference Manual describes these in detail.
