CL includes probe and jig capacitance.
Outputs DRAIN 1, 2, 5, and 6 low (PGND), all other DRAIN outputs are at 24V. The word generator has the following characteristics: tr ≤ 10ns, tf ≤ 10ns, tw = 300ns, pulsed repetition rate (PRR) = 5kHz, ZO = 50Ω.

The VGG amplitude and RG are adjusted for di/dt = 20A/µs. A VGG double-pulse train is used to set IF = 0.25A, where t1 = 10µs, t2 = 7µs, and t3 = 3µs.
The DRAIN terminal under test is connected to the TP K test point. All other terminals are connected together and connected to the TP A test point.

The word generator has the following characteristics: tr ≤ 10ns, tf ≤ 10ns, ZO = 50Ω.
Input pulse duration, tw, is increased until peak current IAS = 1A. Energy test level is defined as EAS = IAS × V(BR)DSX × tav/2 = 75mJ, where tav = avalanche time.
