Hardware Connections:

  • Host Workstation to AM13E230X: Provides power to the AM13E230X chip and serves as the primary control interface.
  • AM13E230X to CAN Bus Interface (or CAN Bus Interface to AM13E230X) Three-wire CAN connection: CAN-H, CAN-L, and GND linking the chip to the CAN Bus Interface module.
  • CAN Bus Interface to GUI Tool or Host Workstation the CAN Bus Interface connects (through the USB) to whichever machine is running the GUI tool. This connection can be the Host Workstation or a separate machine running only the GUI.
