Digital Interface

The ADS9218 uses an SPI interface to configure the registers (SCLK, SDI, SDO, CS, and SPI_EN). The ADS9218 uses two LVDS interfaces for capturing conversion data for each ADC channel (DOUTP_A, DOUTM_A, DOUTP_B, and DOUTM_B). The SPI and LVDS signals connect to the FMC connector. The FMC connector signal definition is given in Figure 3-1. These signals are also available on tented via test points for scope measurements. Top overlay text indicates the location of these test points.
