With the inductor value selected, Equation 10 use to calculate the value of C3 (CRAMP) necessary for the emulation ramp circuit.

Equation 10. CRAMP = L × 5 × 10-6

where

  • L is in Henrys.

With L1 selected for 100µH, the recommended value for C3 is 470pF (nearest standard value).
