Jumpers

See Figure 1-2 for jumper locations.

  • J2 EN- This jumper allows the ENABLE input to be connected to GND in order to disable the IC. The "ON" position is the same as an unconnected jumper as EN is pulled up by R2. The "OFF" position shorts EN to ground which will disable TPSM365R6V3RDNR.

  • J3 Mode Select- This EVM is supplied with an MODE/SYNC trimmed version of TPSM365R6 to allow to adjust between PFM and FPWM modes at a fixed 1MHz swithcing frequency.
  • J5 DUMMY CONNECTOR- If an RT device is installed into U1, then this pin can be configured to add a feedback resistor network between VOUT and the RT pin.
  • J6 Mode/Sync- This connector selects between whether the pin 11 of the device is connected to J3's Mode setting or to the signal connected to the SYNC test point.
