2.1.4.1 Basic Test Procedure

  1. Set up the EVM as previously described.
  2. Set the load to constant-voltage (CV) mode and set to 6V.
  3. Set the input source 12V and turn on. The load voltage must be within the 5V regulation target.
  4. Set the current limit of the input supply to 6A maximum.
  5. Set the load voltage to 4V. The load current must be within the 5A regulation target.
  6. Set the load voltage to 6V. The load current must be 0A.
  7. If additional output capacitors or super capacitors are connected to the output, then the additional output capacitors or the super capacitors must be fully discharged before turning off the input power source.
  8. Turn off the input power source.
