PIN TYPE DESCRIPTION
NAME FIXED ADJUSTABLE
FB — 1 I In the adjustable configuration, this pin sets the output voltage with the help of the feedback divider.
GND 2 2 — Ground pin.
IN 4 4 I Input supply pin. A capacitor with a value of 0.1 µF or larger is recommended from this pin to ground. See the Section 8.2.1.3 section for more information.
NC 1, 3 3 — No connect pin. This pin is not connected internally. Connect this pin to ground for best thermal performance or leave floating.
OUT 5 5 O Output of the regulator. A capacitor with a value of 1 µF or larger is required from this pin to ground.(1) See the Section 8.2.1.3 section for more information.
(1) The nominal output capacitance must be greater than 0.47 µF. Throughout this document, the nominal derating on these capacitors is 50%. Make sure that the effective capacitance at the pin is greater than 0.47 µF.
