Summary

This application report presents a method of measuring power stage gain (GM-PS) and slope compensation (Se) in a peak current mode (PCM) BUCK converter. This method is also validated in other PCM architecture converters, such as BOOST, BUCK-BOOST, and so forth. You can build the simulation model by using these internal parameters. Based on the model, the maximum optimization loop stability can be achieved.
