8.3.6 Slower Slew Rate Option

The TPS1HC03-Q1 offers device version (D) with slower rising and falling slew rate for automotive seat heater applications. Such applications require that rise and fall times from 10% to 90% of the PWM currents must stay at or below 80A/ms. The slower slew rate helps reduce electromagnetic interference in the electrical system of a vehicle. Without proper slew rate control, the fast switching of current in the seat heater application can cause EMC issues in the system.
