ESD Ratings

Charged-device model (CDM), per JEDEC specification JESD22-C101(3) ±500
JEDEC document JEP155 states that 500V HBM allows safe manufacturing with a standard ESD control process.
The human-body model is a 100pF capacitor discharged through a 1.5kΩ resistor into each pin. The machine model is a 200pF capacitor discharged directly into each pin. All pins are rated at 2kV for human-body model, but the feedback pin which is rated at 1kV.
JEDEC document JEP157 states that 250V CDM allows safe manufacturing with a standard ESD control process. Manufacturing with less than 250V CDM is possible with the necessary precautions.
