Power Supply Recommendations

The input decoupling capacitors and bootstrap capacitor must be located as close as possible to the TPS54260-EP. In addition, the voltage set-point resistor divider components must also be kept close to the IC. The voltage divider network ties the output voltage to the point of regulation, the copper VOUT trace past the output capacitors. Ensure that input power supply is clean. TI recommends adding an additional input bulk capacitor depending on the board connection to the input supply.
