Gain-Setting

The gain equation of INA351ABS can be given by Equation 1:

Equation 1. G = 1 + 180   k Ω R G

The value of the internal gain resistor RG for INA351ABS can then be derived from the gain equation:

Equation 2. R G = 180   k Ω G - 1

Similarly The gain equation of INA351CDS can be given by Equation 3:

Equation 3. G = 1   +   290   k Ω R G

The value of the internal gain resistor RG for INA351CDS can then be derived from the gain equation:

Equation 4. R G =   290   k Ω G   -   1

Table 8-1 provides how to choose different gain options across INA351ABS and INA351CDS. The 60-kΩ, 90-kΩ, and 145-kΩ resistors mentioned are all typical values of the on-chip resistors.
