Digital imaging with DLP technology provides an alternative to mask-based approaches. Acting as a programmable photomask, the DMD delivers fast, high-resolution, scalable, and precise printing, directing light patterns to expose photosensitive materials. Eliminating masks reduces material costs, shortens mask fabrication time, removes mask inventory management, and accelerates development.

High-resolution, high-speed 3D printing powered by DLP technology 

TI DLP technology for 3D printing applications projects 2D structured light patterns with a digital micromirror device (DMD) to cure photosensitive resins or fuse powdered materials.
