Overview

The TPS92642EVM-203 evaluation module (EVM) helps designers evaluate the operation and performance of the TPS92642-Q1 5.0A buck switching regulator designed for high-current IR LED drive applications. The TPS92642-Q1 is designed to control IR LED diodes and features a wide input voltage range (5.5V to 36V), PWM dimming capability, analog dimming capability, input undervoltage lockout protection, fault detection, an internal 5V regulator, and incorporates an internal pulse monitoring circuit that limits the maximum pulse duty cycle of the PWM signal.
