Overview

The evaluation module (EVM) is an easy-to-use platform to evaluate the main features and performance of the TMAG5328 device, which is a resistor-adjustable, low-power Hall-effect switch. This EVM includes a magnet and a TMAG5328 daughter board. Also included is a head-on linear displacement module for a demonstration of the head-on linear displacement function.

  • GUI-controlled DAC option for dynamically setting the internal magnetic threshold sensitivity (BOP)
  • Nonvolatile memory within DAC stores BOP for future operation without a processor
  • Potentiometer option for dynamically setting BOP
  • Resistor footprint for creating a static BOP
  • LED on TMAG5328 output for visual inspection of switch’s output state
  • Head-on linear displacement module for a demonstration of the head-on linear displacement function

  • TMAG5328 daughter board
  • 1/2-inch diameter x 1/8-inch thick, N42 diametric magnet
  • 3D-printed head-on linear displacement module
