The Trigonometric Math Unit (TMU) is a floating-point hardware accelerator that uses the Custom Datapath Extension (CDE) interface of the ArmĀ® Cortex-M33 to enable faster trigonometric math function functions. The trigonometric math functions are supported as an enhanced instruction set on the M33 core that utilizes the Floating Point Unit (FPU) registers for the operands and the data path implemented on the CDE interface.
