How to Separate the TONMAX Limit or OCP Protection When the PFC Output Voltage Cannot Follow the Regulated Voltage?

If OCP1 is limiting, it is easy to see that the peak PFC inductor current has a flat top around the peak of the line cycle. In this case TON < TONMAX around the peak of the line cycle but should still be TONMAX at the zero-crossing.

If TONMAX is limiting, you should see that the TON period is 12.8 µs and VCOMP is > 5 V.
