Design Requirements

The TS5A3359 device can be properly operated without any external components. However, TI recommends connecting unused pins to ground through a 50-Ω resistor to prevent signal reflections back into the device. TI also recommends pulling up the digital control pins (IN1 and IN2) to VCC or pulling down to GND to avoid undesired switch positions that could result from the floating pin.

Select the appropriate supply voltage to cover the entire voltage swing of the signal passing through the switch because the TS5A3359 input and output signal swing through NO and COM are dependent on the supply voltage VCC. For example, if the desired signal level to pass through the switch is 5 V, VCC must be greater than or equal to 5 V. VCC = 3.3 V would not be valid for passing a 5-V signal since the Analog signal voltage cannot exceed the supply.
