The TAS5805M and TAS5825M Digital-input Class-D Amplifier family uses TI's latest silicon process technology, enabling an extraordinary level of integration into small packages. Both devices are closed loop and have excellent audio performance with less than 0.03% THD+N and a noise floor less than 35 microvolts rms, yet still offer low idle loss, with TI's proprietary hybrid modulation scheme. For certain power levels, our advanced EMI suppression technology enables inductor-free operation for [? BOM ?] cost and board space savings. Providing 38-watt stereo or 65 watts mono with a rich smart amp feature set, TAS5825M is ideal for wireless and smart speakers, soundbars, notebooks, AVRs, high-end TVs, and more. Using PurePath Console 3, TI's GUI for tuning and smart speaker configuration, designers can choose from numerous flexible process flows with a smart amp algorithm for a variety of output configurations. A few examples are the dynamic equalizer, base enhancement, sound field spatializer, thermal and speaker excursion protection, as well as support for up to 192 kilohertz sampling rate. TAS5805M also has real-time PVDD sensing for less clipping distortion and thermal foldback to prevent [? overt ?] temperature states. TAS5805M is a simpler device providing up to 25-watt stereo or 45 watts mono, making it suitable for commodity applications like wireless and voice-activated speakers, soundbars, TVs, and more. The device still has enhanced process flows, with three-band DRC, 15 [? biquads ?] per channel, a level meter, and up to 96 kilohertz sampling frequency.
