When a motor is braking, AC drive energy recovery systems feed energy back into the grid rather than dissipating braking energy into heat. Power efficient green energy AC drives are enabled by a high efficiency DC/AC three-phase fast switching isolated power stage with accurate current/voltage sensing. Depending on the grid voltage the AC drive energy recovery system requires basic to reinforced isolation with high EMC immunity.
