Wireless Connectivity kits and evaluation modules consist of an array of boards ranging from demo and application-specific hardware to full-feature development kits for hardware performance testing and software development.
The RF430FRL152HEVM evaluation module is a self-contained development platform used to evaluate the features and performance of the RF430FRL15xH NFC ISO 15693 sensor transponder. The evaluation board can be powered with a battery, USB or by harvesting RF energy from a nearby NFC-enabled reader or smartphone. The embedded application code in ROM manages RF communication and sensor readings to provide the ultimate flexibility in configuring the device.
The DLP-RF430BP, from third party provider DLP Design, is an add-on board designed to fit TI's MCU LaunchPads and incorporates the RF430CL330H.
The third party provider DLP Design NFC/RFID BoosterPack (DLP-7970ABP) is an add-on board designed to fit all of TI's MCU LaunchPads. This BoosterPack allows the software application developer to get familiar with the functionalities of TRF7970A multi-protocol fully integrated 13.56 MHz NFC/ HF RFID IC on their TI embedded microcontroller platform of choice without having to worry about developing the RF section.
Begin evaluating NFC designs using the Dynamic NFC Transponder Evaluation Kit. Get a secure, simplified pairing process for Bluetooth® and Wi-Fi connections with the only dynamic NFC tag device designed specifically for NFC connection handover and service interface functions, including host diagnostics and software upgrades. The kit contains the RF430CL330HTB Target Board and the MSP-EXP430FR5739 Experimenter Board.
This bundled solution contains the DLP Design NFC/RFID BoosterPack (DLP-7970ABP) which is an add-on board designed to fit all of TI’s MCU LaunchPads and the MSP-EXP430F5529LP LaunchPad. This bundle allows the software application developer to get familiar with the functionalities of TRF7970A NFC transceiver IC without having to worry about developing the RF section and the NFCLink software firmware library enables developers to quickly and easily create NFC applications in all three operating modes reader/writer, card emulation and peer-to-peer for the TRF7970A NFC transceiver.
For evaluating the complete NFC solution with Dynamic NFC Transponder Interface, NFC Transceiver IC and NFCLink software, the all-in-one NFC Evaluation Kit, contains the TRF7970ATB Target Board, the MSP-EXP430F5529 USB Experimenter's Board, RF430CL330HTB Target Board and the MSP-EXP430FR5739 Experimenter Board. Everything you need to begin evaluating your NFC designs.
The RF430F5978EVM including the user software SLRC001 is a complete evaluation platform to evaluate the key features of RF430F5978:
In a typical sequence, the MRD2EVM LF Transmitter would send a 64 Bit wake pattern and as soon as the RF430F5978EVM Board is within the supply range (typical ~ 2m with this set up, but can reach up to 10m with an LF power transmitter) and detects a valid wake pattern, will then activate the microcontroller.
The microcontroller will then measure the RSSI (Receive Signal Strenth) of all 3 axes on the 3D LF antenna, interpret the orientation and distance of the device, measure the temperature as well as battery/system voltage and send back the information via the onboard UHF Transceiver to the AP434R01 Access Point.
The returned data will be visualized by the user software SLRC001, showing the signal strength on all 3 axes as well as temperature and supply voltage logging data.
The TRF7970A EVM is a self contained development platform which can be used to independently evaluate/test the performance of the TRF7970A RFID/Near Field Communications (NFC) Transceiver IC, custom firmware, customer designed antennas and/or potential transponders for a customer defined RFID/NFC application.
The TRF7970ATB Evaluation Module allows the software application developer to get familiar with the functionalities of TRF7970A Multi-Protocol Fully Integrated 13.56-MHz NFC/ HF RFID IC on their Texas Instruments Embedded microcontroller platform of choice without having to worry about the RF section.Learn more
The microreader evaluation board (RI-STU-MRD2) is a complete USB-based reader module providing the hardware and software to communicate with TI's low-frequency (LF), half-duplex (HDX), and advanced transponders for programming and tuning after the production phase. The USB reader-writer stick contains the RI-STU-MRD2 DIL module, which is mounted on an antenna base board with a USB connector and a selection of TI HDX LF transponders. The RI-STU-MRD2 is backward compatible with the RS232 based RISTU- MRD1 reader module.Learn more
